Domestic Violence
New York State offers a myriad of protections to persons experiencing abuse in an intimate relationship, whether married or not. Ms. Castellano has spent decades working against domestic violence. She actively supports Rochester organizations which provide services to abuse survivors. Ms. Castellano participated in an international legal exchange to Rochester’s sister city Novgorod in Russia where she presented at a Domestic Violence Conference - the first time such an event was ever held in Novgorod- bringing together judiciary, lawyers, police, prosecutors, agencies, victims of violence, government officials, and the media.
